REVIEW-JOURNAL started Danny Thomas' life story series on Sunday, May 3>. We took pictures of Danny last week for advance publicity and picture ran Friday, May 3. 3. We are taping Danny for a "Monitor?╟╓1 interview. ij.. We received six-minute plug on "Queen For A Day" program, using picture of Danny along with the other pictures and copy usually run on the Sands in awarding a Sands vacation to the "Queen", Mrs. Virginia Brown. 5. Received plug on "Nightline", new NBC radio network show on April 30 ?╟÷ this was taped by Nat King Cole in which he also mentioned Danny's opening the following night. 6. Am working on a publicity picture with Danny and the 100,000th person to see him in the 161 shows he will have performed in 21 weeks and 3 days of engagements at the Sands, to set a record for Las Vegas entertainers. 7. Copy going out weekly to trades and 67 columnists nationally. 8. Have been with Danny some time of each day and night and he appears happy, although he misses you and Jake, Helldorado 1.
