Los Angeles - August 6, 19^5 1-733^ Mr. W, R. Bracken: Referring to your letter July 30th, ana with return of the copy of form letter from City Manager of Las Vegas concerning sidewalks, affecting some of our North Main Street property. I don't think the City will take any action In Installing the sidewalks and billing us without first Issuing a preemp- tory order. X have no one to send up there at this time to take elevations and endeavor to work out a feasible plan that will meet the City's Interests ami those of our tenants, and It may be some time before we can do this. Meantime, If you can get a few minutes of McKee's time he mlgit be able to run some elevations there and work out some kind of a scheme that will be satisfactory to both parties. As a matter of Information, E. B. Hall expects to move his rig up there in abotxt two weeks and drill Well No. 11. We will, of course, shut It In until we get the other work done, but I want to take advantage of the opportunity to secure the rig and get that much out of the way.
