    LAS VEGAS NEVADA Evening Review Journal April 26, 1945 New Wafer Main On Stewart The Las Vegas Land and Water i company is installing a new wa­ter main down Stewart street to ' increase service to. the Kelso- | Turner addition, it was announc- j ed today by A1 Folger, manager ! oi the company. The new main is 12 inch cast, iron pipe and will increase the I flow and pressure all along the line, it was reported. Charles C. I McCall, city manager, also re­ported that the city will be bene- fitted because the installation will increase the pressure in the' line and allow the city to put in new fire plugs all along the line. • Folger reported also that one more line is expected to be- in­stalled in the city going out Clark street and hooking onto the Hunt- ridge service at Maryland Park­way and Charleston boulevard. This line also will be a 12' inch main. The Las Vegas Land and Water : company also reported that the ! company will take over service in I the Boulder Addition and Park Place on May 1, substituting for i the service heretofore given by | Michael Paps. o-
