gg|§ Aug. 9, 1904* Br. 3mK. W* Bracken, * m LasVegas, Nev. Bear Sir: I have yours of the 1st inst relative to the grapes and win® on the ranch# 1 note that you have about five barrels of wine left, out of which you are occasionally selling in bulk to Mexicans and Italians at fty a gallon, and that there are such a mmber of saloons about the place now that it materially decreases the demand for it* It occurs to me that this is just the chance for you to get rid of this wine by the barrel, and I would advise that you take the matter up with sane of these people and endeavor to close the entire lot out to than at the best price you are able to obtain* In regard to the crop of grapes for this year* I would advise that you get rid of as many of them as possible to the graders in that section of the country, and then if any are left you can turn than into wine. Very truly yours, (Signed) J. ROSS
