Mr. E.E. Bennett - #2 condemnation in view o f the attitude o f the d is tr ic t . The question arose as to whether or not the Railroad Company would wish to retain water fo r it s own use. I advised that the origin al Las Vegas Spring, being the fir s t water in this area, was owned by the Railroad Company, to the best o f my knowledge, and that although I did not speak fo r any one in the matter, i t was my personal opinion that the Railroad Company probably would wish to retain this water for it s own use. There seemed to be agreement among the d irectors that th is would be agreeable i f desired by the Railroad. Sincerely CMC/b Calvin M. Cory e n d P.S. Bob stated an opinion o f the Act had already been requested from several bond companies and that the Company would be furnished with a copy thereof, when received.
