Las Vegas - July 24, 1953 Mr. Robert 2. Hawkins P.0, Box 2*442 Heno} Nevada Dear Sirs Tills refers to your letter of July 22, 1953 with reference to Service No. 8400 which covers the Bonanza Lodge at 1808 Fremont Street, Las Vegas, Nevada. With respect to the difference in the water rates referred to in the second paragraph of your letter, this is to advise you that on Sept. 1, 1952 the Public Service Commission of Nevada authorized the water company a 20^ increase in water rates effective September 1, 1952, This increased your water rate from #34.80 to $37.20 which is the present rate. Although your check of |243.60 mailed to us in June 1952 to cover the period June through 1952 was at the correct rate at the time of mail-increase became effective subsequent to the pay* it was necessary to make an additional collection per month for the months of September through 1952. December Ing, the meat and of $2.40 December Hoping that the above information will clarify the misunderstanding. Very truly yours, LRM/tp L. R. Maag
