    ACCEPTANCE OF NOTICE We, the undersigned Mayor, Commissioners, City Manager and City Attorney of the City of Las Vegas, Nevada, do hereby admit due service of the foregoing Notice of Special meeting: s/ Reed Whipple________________ C. JARRETT, Commissioner HOWARD W. CANNON, City Attorney s/ William Peccole______________ _______________________________— WILLIAM PECCOLE, Commissioner A special meeting of the Board of Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas held this 29th day of October, 1951 was called to order at the hour of 4:30 P.M. by His Honor Mayor Pro Tem Whipple with the following members present: Mayor Pro Tem Reed Whipple Commissioner Wendell Bunker Commissioner William Peccole City Attorney Howard W. Cannon City Manager C. W. Shelley City Clerk Shirley Ballinger Comptroller Harold A. Laird Absent: Mayor C. D. Baker Commissioner Rex A. Jarrett PAYROLL WARRANT Commissioner Bunker moved that Payroll Warrant No. 1241 in the net amount of $1,157.74 be approved and the Mayor and City Clerk authorized to sign same. Motion seconded by Commissioner Peccole and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Peccole and His Honor Mayor Pro Tem Whipple voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Mayor Baker and Commissioner Jarrett. SERVICE & MATERIAL WARRANTS Commissioner Bunker moved that Service and Material Warrant No. 2193 in the total amount of $1,214.83 be approved and the Mayor and City Clerk authorized to sign same. Motion seconded by Commissioner Peccole and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Peccole and His Honor Mayor Pro Tem Whipple voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Mayor Baker and Commissioner Jarrett. CLAIM - Ben Quintana At this time the claim of Ben Quintana in the amount of $21.00 was pre- sented to the Board for their consideration. Commissioner Peccole moved action on this claim be held in abeyance until the next regular meeting of the Board on November 7, 1951. Motion seconded by Commissioner Bunker and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Peccole and His Honor Mayor Pro Tem Whipple voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Mayor Baker and Commissioner Jarrett. There being no further business to come before the meeting at this time, Commissioner Peccole moved this meeting adjourn. Motion seconded by Commissioner Bunker and carried by the following tote: Commissioners Bunker, Peccole and His Honor Mayor Pro Tem Whipple voting aye; noes, none.
