I agree.Las Vegas - August k , 19^9 W 2 3-1-^'8 Mr. Wm. Reinhardt: (oo - Mr. E. E. Bennett) Supplementing previous communications on the water situation at Las Vegasl Inenclose copy of letter dated August 2 from the Public Service Commission, together with Comissioner Williams1 report covering preliminary investigation at Las Vegas, July 20. While his report is not entirely accurate, it is obvious that the Commission intends to follow this subject thru to a conclusion. A public hearing here would be of no benefit to us, and'would merely enable the Commission to determine our plans for the future. I believe we can convince them th&t we intend to provide adequate volumes and pressures for the coming summer and I will appreciate it if you will advise me whether our previous recommendations for needed improvements were approved. I understand members of the Commission will be in Las Vegas, August 12th on another matter and I would like to be in a position to further discuss it with them at that time.
