Halsted: Replying to your le tte r of May 28th, your P ile 174-2, re la tiv e to the abovej As Industrial D istric t Ho. 1 and, in fact, a l l of our ra ilro ad station ground at Las Vegas, is privately own­ed land of the Railroad Company, there is no necessity for procuring any extension of our present franchise, inasmuch as our c e rtific a te of public convenience and necessity i s ­sued by the Public Service Commission covers a ll of the area within the city o f Las Vegas, which is approximately two miles square, and our permit from the city of Las Vegas covers a l l of the streets and alle y s. Blue prints should, however, be prepared showing the particular location of the 2,425 feet of water pipe lin e proposed to serve Industrial D istric t No. 1, and the R ail­road Company should grant an easement to the Las Vegas Land and Water Company, under such terms and conditions as may be agreed upon, of the right of way fo r such pipe lin e s.
