Mr. E.E. Bennett #2 Suggest Rule 9 be changed to read: "9. Service Lines - All service lines extending from mains to property line, with proper cut-off, shall be installed and maintained by the Water Company, subject to the provisions of Rules 9-A and 10 hereof." In order to clarify Rule 9-A, I would eliminate therefrom any reference to service pipes as distinguished from water mains. Suggest the Rule be made to read as follows: "9-A. Hew Main Extensions - Whenever an application for water service is received which will require the Company to extdnd its water mains more than fifty feet, the applicant shall enter into a contract to advance sufficient money to cover cost of making such extension. The amount advanced shall be refunded quarterly to the applicant advancing same at the rate of 50$ of the revenues received from such installation for a period of ten years, or until the full amount has been refunded, whichever occurs first." Rule 10 - Eliminate words "Up to and Including fifty feet" from 4th paragraph. Rule 12 - Insert the words "Consumers using" after word "to" in second line. Rule 13 - Insert words "Without the companys consent" after the word "Consumer" in line three. Rule 16 - Substitute words, "Schedule of Rates" instead of, "filed tariff” in line two. While these suggested Ghanges are notimportant, they will serve to clarify the Rules and avoid controversy with the public in their future application. A.M. Folger
