I agree.C-O-P-Y V J. M. ULLOM Treasurer, Clark County Las Vegas, Nevada. May 14-, 1925. Mr. Charles Adams, Rt. of Way & Tax Dept., Union Pacific Lines, Los Angeles, Calif. Dear Sir:- In checking over your list of Lots at Las Vegas, Nevada, sold under contract, taxes on which should be paid by the L.V. Land and Water Company, I find the following have paid their taxes in full: Contract 3656, T* J* Parker, Lots 12 & 13 Blk .4-. On Contract 3612, W. H. Elwell, Lots 30 & 31 - - ^ f — - — — ? - — j ^ * Blk 4, I think this man will object strenuously, to me refusing to accept his money for taxes on those lots. He is a man of considerable property and always pays his taxes promptly and if I refuse to accept his money, it will start an argument, therefore I respectfully suggest that, since they are assessed to him and he has paid the first installment, you do not include his lots in my list to refuse payment only from the company. 4o4, ^9, R.
