FORM WPB-3348 ( 9 - 2 2 - 4 4 ) INSTRUCTIONS Utilities Order U-l-d authorizes certain extensions of utilities' lines to serve structures which are being built or remodeled under authority of a specific authorization pursuant to Conservation Order L-41. Under this order utilities must prepare this FornrWPB-3848 and deliver it to the builder for attachment to his application for L-41 approval. This is necessary to permit the War Production Board, in considering the a p plication for priorities assistance filed by the builder of the structure to be served, to know that utilities services are authorized to be built at the location proposed. This form i3 also to be used in cases where utility extensions to serve dwellings are not within U-l-d because the material cost exceeds $10, 600, provided t.hat they can be built within the Housing Utilities Standards. In such cases this form is ‘to be prepared as above for delivery to the builder for insert ion in his application file; the utility will be notified when the builder's application is approved, and at that time should file its application on FdfrmWPB-2774, for authority to build such extensions GrO— War Heard 12871 B—p. 2
