Announcement prior to final performance: March 26,1997 Tropicana Hotel Las Vegas, Nevada "Ladies <& Gentlemen, the show you are about to see is history in the making. This edition of the Folies Bergere? opened in 1983. Tonight you are about to enjoy the very last performance of this sensational award winning show. In a few short weeks we will open a new edition of -the Folies Bergere. uBut, tonight you are about to experience another part of history. It is customary, when shows perform for the last time, for cast members to express themselves creatively. If this happens, realize it is a oncein a lifetime moment for a dancer in a line to express themselves. "Also, in the audience we are surrounded by many dancers, singers <& showgirls who have performed in this show since it opened and have traveled many miles to see this last performance. We welcome you all. "And now, sit back and enjoy the final performance of the 16th edition of the Folies Bergere, and on behalf of the cast A crew we would like to dedicate this performance to our Director & Choreographer, Jerry Jackson and our Producer, Larry Lee.11
