Executive Officer’s Report for Martin Luther King Parade 1999 Presented by: Soror Lisa Russell
    Date: November 18, 1998
    Time: 7:00pm
    Location: Soror Ina Dorman’s Home
On January 17, 1998, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Theta Theta Omega Chapter participated in the 1998 MLK Parade and entered our float in the Best Greek Entry Competition. We received 2nd place for our theme of our float "Celebrating 90 years of Sisterhood”,
The theme for the 1999 parade has not been released, therefore, a float theme is still needed. Another collaboration between Theta Theta Omega Chapter and the Kappa Xi Chapter would ensure another successful and beautiful float!
A SUGGESTION is to have the Sorors of Kappa Xi and Theta Theta Omega perform a short step routine together for the Judges and parade watchers.
I strongly encourage suggestions regarding a routine as time is limited and must be approved and coordinated with our undergraduate Sorors. Participation is needed.
    Parade Information
The starting location and time has not yet been assigned or released. Early indications suggest that the parade will begin at 10:00am. Final time and location will be provided at the January,, 1999 general meeting.
