SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENT Commissioner Bunker moved that the Supplemental Agreement with the Union Pacific Railroad WITH UNION PACIFIC for lease of parking area around the passenger station in Las Vegas be approved and the RAILROAD ON PARKING AREA Mayor and City Clerk authorized to sign same and that the following resolution of acceptance be adopted and order made: Resolution of Acceptance Adopted RESOLUTION WHEREAS, the LOS ANGELES & SALT LAKE RAILROAD COMPANY, and its Lessee, UNION PACIFIC RAILROAD COMPANY, have tendered to the CITY OF LAS VEGAS, State of Nevada, a Supplemental Agreement covering the leasing to the City of portions of the premises of the Railroad Companies at Las Vegas, Clark County, Nevada, to be used for the operation of parking lots for the parking of passenger automobiles, said Supplemental Agreement being identified in the records of the Railroad Companies as "N"L.D. 3129; and WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Las Vegas, Nevada, has said proposed Supplemental Agreement before it and has given it careful review and consideration and WHEREAS, it is considered that the best interests of said City of Las Vegas, Nevada, will be subserved by the acceptance of said Supplemental Agreement; THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAS VEGAS, STATE OF NEVADA: That the terms of the Supplemental Agreement modifying and amending an Agreement of April 27, 1954, (C.D. No. 40086, Audit No. A-74111), submitted by the Los Angeles & Salt Lake Railroad Company, and its Lessee, Union Pacific Railroad Company, as aforesaid, be, and the same are hereby accepted on behalf of said City; That the Mayor of said City is hereby authorized, empowered and directed to execute said Supplemental Agreement on behalf of said City, and that the City Clerk of said City is hereby authorized and directed to attest said Supplemental Agreement and to attach to each duplicate original of said Supplemental Agreement a certified copy of this resolution. Boos, Acting City Clerk of the City of Las Vegas, Nevada, hereby certify that the above and foregoing is a true, full and correct copy of a resolution adopted by the Council of the City of Las Vegas, Nevada, at a meeting held according to law at Las Vegas, Nevada, on the 4th day of February, 1959, as the same appears on file and record in this office.
