I agree.Ret Application No. 15754, Transfer water. of 1.4 c.f.s. of Los Angeles - November 18, 1954 174-2 Mr. V. W. Smith: cc: Mr. C. M. Cory You have copy of Mr. Cory's letter to me of November 16th on the above matter, and I am handing you herewith the forms he mentioned in that letter. Frankly, I do not know what these forms are expected to contain, and I am sending him a copy of this letter asking him to take it up with the local office of the State Engineer and see just what improvements they are talking about. As you know, this was an application for permission to change point of diversion of certain water, and the only improvements which occur to me at this time would be the construction of the tank and necessary connecting pipe lines. However, Mr. Cory will advise you direct what the State Engineer requires in the way of improvements, and then you can have the affidavits filled out by the party who is familiar with the construction work. E. E. Bennett P.S. - Mr. C. M. Cory: If this were a question of a newwsll and new pipe line, I would understand what they want, but frankly I just don't know how this thing should be made out. Should we include not only the tank and connecting pipe lines, but the new well also, which can not be completed by January 8th presumably? Please let Mr. Smith know direct with copy to me. E. E. B.
