    33 V MOTOR-GENERATORS Synchronous motors may he re-connected so as to be operated as synchronous condensers; generators may be connected to steam turbine drives for power plant house service use; or motors and generators from two units may be recombined to obtain suitable operating characteristics. Generators of small sets may be rewound for such uses as battery charging, etc. MOULDING, GROUND Short pieces may be used on crossarms. Short lengths may also be used as a safety guard for saws. MOWER, LAWN * Disassemble, sharpen blades, replace worn or broken parts, grease and paint. NIPPLES Can be made from short pieces of pipe that would hormally be thrown in the scrap bin. see PIPE NUTS, EYE Clean, check threads, regalvanize if necessary. NUTS, WING Non-standard may be held for maintenance or special odd jobs* OILS, INSULATING As removed from Circuit Breakers, transformers, regulators, etc. may be reconditioned by the usual blotter-press or combination blotter-press and centrifuge methods. Several companies are experimenting with more complete chemical reconditioning processes.
