November 6, 1939. Mr. Alfred Merritt Smith, State Engineer, Carson City, Nevada. Dear Sir: I enclose herewith application of Las Vegas Land and Water Company for permit to appropriate one-tenth c.f.s. of water for domestic and stock watering purposes from the Las Vegas Valley artesian basin. The artesian well has already been drilled, and I am enclos-ing the log of said well. I am also enclosing check for $20. to cover the filing fee. Very truly yours, Leo A.
