484 LIQUOR APPLICATIONS Commissioner Whipple moved that the application of Thomas J. Tobin, Esquire Bar, 120 South 2nd Street for a Retail Tavern Liquor license for the 3rd & 4th quarters of 1949 be granted. Motion seconded by Commissioner Moore and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Moore, Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Commissioner Whipple moved that the application of L. L. Brown, H & B Market, 1619 Fremont for a Retail Beverage license for the 4th quarter of 1949 be granted. Motion seconded by Commissioner Peccole and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Moore, Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. BIDS & Printing of Civil At this time the following bids for the printing of Civil Service Rules & Regulations in Service Rules & Regulations booklet form were presented to the Board for their consideration: BRIMMIES 150 copies $110.00 BONANZA PRINTERS 150 copies 159.45 Thereafter Commissioner Bunker moved that the low bid of Brimmies for 150 copies at $110.00 be accepted. Motion seconded by Commissioner Whipple and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Moore, Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. EASEMENT DEED - Aeroville Commissioner Peccole moved that the easement deed to the Aeroville Corporation for land Corp. adjoining the Las Vegas Army Air Base be referred to the City Manager for checking. Motion seconded by Commissioner Whipple and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Moore, Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. SERVICE & MATERIAL Commissioner Bunker moved that Service & Material Warrant No. 1861 in the total amount of WARRANT $790.00 be approved and the Mayor and City Clerk authorized to sign same. Motion seconded by Commissioner Whipple and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Moore, Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. PROPOSED ORDINANCE - An ordinance entitled; "AN ORDINANCE DECLARING THE DETERMINATION OF THE BOARD OF COMMIS- Meadows Addition SIONERS OF THE CITY OF LAS VEGAS, NEVADA, TO MAKE CERTAIN IMPROVEMENTS IN THE CITY OF LAS #200-3 VEGAS BY INSTALLING A SANITARY SEWER IN THE SAID CITY; PROVIDING THAT THE COST AND EXPENSE THEREOF SHALL BE PAID ENTIRELY BY SPECIAL ASSESSMENT UPON ALL THE LOTS INCLUDED WITHIN THE SPECIAL ASSESSMENT DISTRICT HEREBY ESTABLISHED ACCORDING TO THE BENEFITS, AND OTHER MATTERS RELATING THERETO," was read by title and referred to Commissioners Bunker and Peccole for report. Thomas for permission to use Lot 3, Martin Tract for limited Multiple Dwelling Use instead of "R2" Two Family Resi- dence, Zone Variance Case No. 75 was considered. Thereafter Commissioner Moore moved that the foregoing request be granted, subject to the conditions set forth by the Regional Planning Commission. Motion seconded by Commissioner Bunker and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Moore, Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. ZONE VARIANCE CASE #76 At this time the letter of recommendation from the Regional Planning Commission under Peter Clos date of October 6, 1949 relative to the request of Peter Clos, 313 West Charleston Boulevard for permission to use this property for Single Family Residence and Apart- ment Residence Use instead of "RE" as zoned, Zone Variance Case #76 was considered. Thereafter Commissioner Moore moved that the foregoing request for zone variance be granted, subject to the conditions set forth by the Regional Planning Commission.
