BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said Notice of Special Assessment shall he in substantially the form attached to this Resolution and made a part hereof. ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 5th day of October, 1955. ATTEST: City Clerk Mayor NOTICE OF SPECIAL ASSESSMENT TO ALL PERSONS INTERESTED IN SPECIAL ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 200-17, TAKE NOTICE: That the roll of special assessment heretofore made by the assessor for the purpose of defraying that part of the costs, to-wit, the entire costs, which the Board of Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas decided should be paid and borne by special assessments for installing a sanitary sewer in and along the following streets and alleys and parts of streets and alleys and easements therein: East-West alleys bisecting Blocks 24 and 26 Valley View Addition. East-West alleys bisecting Blocks 20, 21, 26, 27 and 28 Valley View Addition, from the easterly line of Lot 6 of each Block eastwardly to the existing sewer in "A" Street. ADAMS AVENUE from the intersection of "H" Street, 390 feet Westerly; WASHINGTON AVENUE from the intersection of "H" Street, 500 feet Westerly. "H" STREET from the intersection of Washington Avenue to the inter­section of Adams Avenue. The East-West alley bisecting Block 32, HFM&M Addition from the center line of "H" Street, 79½ feet eastwardly to an existing sewer in said alley, is now on file at my office for public inspection, all pursuant to the provisions of Emergency Ordinance No. 666, adopted the 21st day of September, 1955. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Commissioners and the Ex-officio Assessor of the City of Las Vegas, will meet in the Council Room of the City Hall at Fifth Street and Stewart Avenue, Las Vegas, Nevada, on Wednesday, the 19th day of October, 1955, at the hour of 8:00 o'clock P.M., to review said assessment, at which time and place opportunity will be given all persons interested to be heard. Any person objecting to the assessment may file his objection thereto with the City Clerk, in writing, at any time prior to the time set for hearing. DATED: October 5, 1955. Commissioner Whipple moved the following resolution directing publication of the Notice of Public Hearing on Assessment Roll No. 34-1955 for Assessment District No. 100-36, setting the hearing for October 19, 1955 at 7:30 P.M., be adopted: RESOLUTION WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas have taken steps to create certain public improvements all as provided for in Emergency Ordinance No. 666, passed, adopted and approved the 21st day of September, 1955. WHEREAS, Section 6 of said Emergency Ordinance No. 666 directs the County Assessor of the County of Clark, State of Nevada, the Ex-officio City Assessor of the City of Las Vegas, Nevada, to make an assessment roll in accordance with the Charter of the City of Las Vegas; and WHEREAS, the said Ex-officio City Assessor has prepared such Assessment Roll in accordance with said Ordinance and on the 5th day of October, 1955, filed said Assessment Roll with City Clerk of the City of Las Vegas, all as directed in Section 6 of said Emergency Ordinance No. 666; and WHEREAS, said roll was numbered by the City Clerk of the City of Las Vegas as directed by Section 8 of said Emergency Ordinance No. 666; and WHEREAS, the time has arrived to direct the Notice of Special Assessment to be published as required by Section 67 of the Chanter of the City of Las Vegas, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas, at a regular meeting thereof held on the 5th day of October, 1955, that the City Clerk and Clerk of the Board of Commissioners be and she is hereby directed ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 100-36 Notice of Public Hearing on Assess­ment Roll
