A lease, dated September 1, 1933, from LVL&WCo., . Lessor, to Albert Wittwer, Lessee (LVL&WCo. Audit ^ No. 9076), expiring August 31, 1943; excepting and reserving* All water and water rights appurtenant to said land, and All coal, oil and other mineral rights; be, and the same is hereby, ratified, approved and confirmed. On motion duly seconded, it was RESOLVED, that the action of Vice President Strong in executing letter-agreement, C.L.D. No. 4308, dated August 11, 1942, between Las Vegas Land and Water Company and Peter Strattes, covering permission to use as a residence site an area 150’ x 150' in the northwesterly corner of Lot 19, and to use for agricultural purposes only, 5.5 acres in Lots 21 and 22, in the Los Angeles Pruitland Association 500-Acre Tract, Los Angeles County, California, for period of six months, commencing July 1, 1942; said premises to be surrendered and vacated upon thirty days' notice to do so; rental $137.50 for the term, payable in advance; be, and the same is hereby, ratified, approved and confirmed. On motion duly seconded, it was RESOLVED, that the action of Vice President Strong in executing rider, C.L.D. No. 4333, dated August 29, 1942, extending to October 15, 1945, term of lease Audit No. A-45232, dated November 2, 1936, expiring October 15, 1942, between Las Vegas Land and Water Company (Assignee), Lessor, and Marion Machine Foundry & Supply Company of California, Lessee, covering warehouse and storage site at Signal Hill, California; Lessee being given permission to sublease all or any part of -5-
