I agree.Statement of Glen Steward I was sittin g in the lobby of the Company Rooming-hon.se with my brother Barry Stewart about 9?30 in the morning of Sunday January 12th, 1941 when a man cam© down the sta irs dressed in a pair of d irty white oourdoroys, an old faded green ©oat, almost gray and a d irty gray hat. He was about 40 years old, i about 5 f t . 5 in, weighing about 130 lb s. He went right out the front door and seemed to be in an awful hurry* He was gone a l i t t l e w h ile , then same back a g a in , by h im se lf. He ran up s t a ir s and was there ju s t a few minutes and came running down the s t a ir s and out the fro n t door. Sh ortly a f t e r , a student bra-eman came down into the lobby and s a id he was in h is room a s le e p and ju s t woke up In time to see t h is fe llo w going out the d oor, and looked ©yea? on the dresser and saw h is ten d o lla r s in s i lv e r was gone. Then Harry, my b ro th er, and I took the student brakaman down to the p o lic e sta tio n and gave a d e sc rip tio n o f the man. Engineer.
