I agree.BLUEBELL 11-13, Rue de la Faisanderie 75116 Paris life 704-66-42 Mr. Donn ARDEN P.O Box 4082 1051 Lobo Way PALM SPRINGS CA. U.S.A. Paris June 21, 1988 My dear Donn, First let me thank both Craig and yourself for the beautiful flowers I received on your behalf* Also for the letter and the overture were really delightful. Both celebrations, at the Lido on the 13th and at the Chesnaie du Roi on the 14th, were a great success* Jean Paul is now Director at the Chesnaie du Roi and from what I hear is a great success. Must tell you that some of the former Bluebells, like Viva, Eleanor, Denise Carpenter were in the first show we did together. I must say that everybody was extremely dissapointed that you were not with us. Almost everybody came to me to say ,f What a pity Donn is not here ". With your overture, needless to say I took it with me, and as it was a very emotionnal evening for me, I asked Michele's husband who is American as you may remember, to read it for me. I was of course standing by his side. You should have heard the applause that you got. People found it absolutely delighful. Am enclosing the front page of France Soir where you will probably recognize some of the girls. Hard to believe after all this time that they all looked so lovely. We can be proud of them. I am leaving for New York on the 15th of July, staying there about 5 days and then coming to Vegas where of course I will con^ tact you. Now Donn I have tried to call you several times at Palm Springs and at Mission Viejo, but had no reply. Enclosed you will find the menu of both celebrations and the front page of France Soir. Do hope that both Craig and yourself are well, until we meet again, my best love to you both. y^y^ Jj2^^
