AFFIDAVIT OF PUBLICATION STATE OF NEVADA : COUNTY OF CLARK : SS. CHAS. P. SQUIRES, being- first duly sworn, deposes and says: That he is publisher of the LAS VEGAS AGE, a weekly newspaper, of general circulation, printed and published at Las Vegas, in the County of Clark, State of Nevada, and that the attached Ordinance No. 97 of the City of Las Vegas, Nevada, was continuously published in said newspaper for a period of One Week inclusive, being the issues of said newspaper for the following, dates; to wit: March 10, 1923 That said newspaper was regularly issued and circulated on each of the dates above named, that the charge for publishing the same was $ . ORDINANCE 98 An Ordinance concerning aeronautics and matters pertaining thereto. THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF LAS VEGAS DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Sec. 1. Any aeronaut or passenger who, while in flight in a balloon, airplane, hydroplane, or in any other vehicle used for navigation through the air, over a thickly inhabited area of the City of Las Vegas or over a public gathering within said City, shall engage in trick or aerobatic flying, or any acrobatic feat, or shall, except while in landing or taking off, fly at such a low level as to endanger the persons on the surface beneath, shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be punished by a fine not less than twenty-five dollars nor more than Three Hundred Dollars, or by imprisonment in the City Jail until such fine is paid at the rate of not exceeding one day for each two dollars of such fine in case such fine is not paid, or by imprisonment in the City Jail not exceeding six months, or by both such fine and imprisonment. Sec. 2. This Ordinance shall be in effect from and after its passage and adoption and adoption- and publication for one week (one issue) in the Las Vegas Age, a weekly newspaper published in the City of Las Vegas. Passed and adopted this 7th day of March .A. D. 1923, by the following vote: Commissioners Hodgens, Arnold, Blanding and Mayor Pro Tem Dentner voting aye, Noes, none. First reading February 8, 1923. second reading March 7th, 1923. Approved this 7th day of March, 1923. W. H. Dentner_____ Mayor Pro Tem, of the City of Las Vegas. Attest: Florence S.
