    CALL OF SPECIAL MEETING Las Vegas, Nevada May 5, 1952 TO: SHIRLEY BALLINGER, City Clerk Las Vegas, Nevada A Special Meeting of the Board of Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas is hereby called to be held in the Mayor's Office at the City Hall, on the 5th day of May, 1952, at the hour of 9:30 P.M. to consider the following matters; 1. Payroll Warrants Nos. 1294 to 1298 in the net amount of $30,399.64. 2. Service & Material Warrants Nos. 2268 in the total amount of $9,525.36. s/ C.D. Baker______________________ C.D. BAKER, Mayor NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING TO: C.D. BAKER, Mayor and to WENDELL BUNKER, REX A. JARRETT, WILLIAM PECCOLE, REED WHIPPLE, Commissioners, and C.W. SHELLEY, City Manager, HOWARD W. CANNON, City Attorney of the City of Las Vegas, Nevada. You and each of you will please take notice that pursuant to a call this day issued by Mayor Baker, a Special Meeting of the Board of Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas, Nevada, will be held in the Mayor's Office at the City Hall, 5th and Stewart, on the 5th day of May, 1952, at the hour of 9:30 P.M. to consider the fol­lowing matters: 1. Payroll Warrants Nos 1294 to 1298 in the net amount of $30,399.64. 2. Service & Material Warrants Nos. 2268 in the total amount of $9,525.36. s/ Shirley Ballinger____________ SHIRLEY BALLINGER, City Clerk ACCEPTANCE OF NOTICE We, the undersigned Mayor, Commissioner, City Manager and City Attorney of the City of Las Vegas, Nevada, do hereby admit due service of the foregoing Notice of Special meeting: s/ C.D. Baker s/ Reed Whipple C.D. BAKER REED WHIPPLE, Commissioner s/ Wendell Bunker WENDELL BUNKER, Commissioner C.W. SHELLEY, City Manager s/ Rex A. Jarrett______________________ ____________________________________________ REX A. JARRETT, Commissioner HOWARD W. CANNON, City Attorney s/ Dora Lord WILLIAM PECCOLE, Commissioner DORA LORD, Assistant City Manager A special meeting of the Board of Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas held this 5th day of May, 1952, was called to order at the hour of 10:00 A.M. with the fol­lowing members present: Mayor C.D. Baker Commissioner Wendell Bunker Commissioner Rex A. Jarrett Commissioner Reed Whipple Assistant City Manager Dora Lord City Clerk Shirley Ballinger Absent: Commissioner William Peccole City Attorney Howard W. Cannon City Manager C.W. Shelley PAYROLL WARRANTS Commissioner Whipple moved that Payroll Warrants Nos. 1294 to 1298 inclusive in the net amount of $30,399.64 be approved and the Mayor and City Clerk authorized to sign same. Motion seconded by Commissioner Bunker and Carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Jarrett, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Commissioner Peccole. SERVICE & MATERIAL Commissioner Whipple moved that Service and Material Warrant No. 2268 in the total WARRANTS amount of $9,525.36 be approved and the Mayor and City Clerk authorized to sign same. Motion seconded by Commissioner Bunker and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Jarrett, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Commissioner Peccole. There being no further business to come before this special meeting, the meeting adjourned.
