Section 3 . For the' purpose of determining the compensa­tion payable by the Eailroad Companies to the Water Company wader Section t of this agreement, the cost to the Hater Company of pro­ducing, transporting and delivering water shall be thecost of producing water from all wells located upon the lands shown in pink on said Exhibit and transporting and delivering the same into the distribution systems of the Water Company and the Bail-road Companies through the water production and transmission fa­cilities located upon said lands by means of the pipe lines col­ored In red and incidental power, telephone and telemeter lines col­ored in green on said Exhibit "A". Such cost shall be deemed to includei (a) The actual eosv to Hater Company of labor and materials used in and directly assigned to such work. (b) A reasonable charge representing the actual cost to Water Company of all labor used in such work not directly assigned thereto in payroll distribution. (e) A reasonable charge representing the actual cost to Hater Company for supervision of such direct­ly and indirectly assigned labor. (d) A reasonable charge representing the actual cost to Hater Company of vacation allowances with re­spect to all labor directly or indirectly assigned and 8 .
