Wilbur) Clark, looking sensational, with her charming escort, Larry Finia..-..- After the show and the elegant buffet supper, those rowdies Gordon and Roy P. competed for the volunteer jazz-dancing title, and were soon joined by Rudy, Michelle and many others-* ..this reporter was exhausted just watching!....! t was a GRAND party, and simply everyone had a ball. Many thanks are due to Barbara Kello and Marian Neuman who were still washing dishes as everyone else twinkletoed off into the night. Those members who were ambulatory the -next .morning and able to appear at the entrance of the Landmark at high noon were treated to a most unusual sight: a totally dark Lobby and Casino, with any number of unhappy people milling about in confusion. It seems, folks, that the Hotel had lost it's power,, not to mention it's charm, at about 11:30 A..M Elevators seemed risky, and Lunch on the twelfth floor undesirable if not impossible so at last, the Hotel agreed to cancel our contract, and about twenty of us segued across the street to the Paddlewheel for a slightly disorganized lunch.. Though at separate tables, we managed to convey cake and card plus a rousing Happy Birthday to Pat Zack! Next year we'll all sing in the same key, Pat ...It was then decided that the actual Meeting would be held in' the Boyer's suite at the Sands. Meanwhile, the late hour forced some members to check out and catch planes, but we did have a quorum, and were able to install a new slate of officers to serve for the next two years.
