April 27, 1951 File: 80-5 Mr. Hoy A* Web* 408 Pacific Mutual Bldg. 660 Market Street San Francisco 4, California Bear Hoy: Z have discussed with Mr. Reinhardt your recent letter relating to 1951 revenue estimate from rate spread of the Las Vegas Land and water Company and it has been decided that we will not file a schedule increasing any rates at this time. At the hearing we will suggest the revised motel rates to the Commission and allow the new motel rates to go into effeot with all other rates when the oast is decided. At a suitable time 1 think Mr. Bertolaocl should prepare an exhibit for introduction at the next hearing based upon the revised estimate of revenues which can be expeoted from the proposed rates with the motel change. X am asking Mr. Sutton to complete the accounting for the Las Vegas Land and Water Company and for the water production facilities of the Railroad as soon after the close of the month of April as -possible so that we may have at the next hearing results of operation as nearly current as possible. I am aleo calling to Mr. Johnson Is attention the suggestion in your letter of April 14th that a revised estimate for 1951 should be prepared for use at the next hearing and that revenues, expenses, customers served, and capital items should be picked off each month as ths data becomes available for uss in making the revised estimate. Upon your return from Hawaii will you get In touch with me so ws can arrange a schedule for the preparation of the additional data. Very truly yours, SCRjLW eo - Mr. §iu Reinhardt Mr. w. H.
