Bear Sir,- Eeferring to Mr. Butt’s joint favor of the 27th: I hand you herewith form thirty, Los Angeles Division Bo. 913, covering the cost of an addition to the fruit pa eking-house at fast Riverside, amounting to |663.90, which is leased to Mr. J. R. Westfall. Mr. Kelhy's letter to Mr. Butt of June 11th, explains the entire transaction* It seems that Westfall was in arrears on his rent for the packing-house, and he had some claims against us, one representing additions to the warehouse, which this form is made to cover, and one for damage account water. The whole matter has “been compromised hy adding to the cost of the plant, upon which Mr. Westfall pays 6$ rental, the eost of the Improvements, which he made, and he has paid us $750.00 cash, and given his note for $784.69, due December 31, 1916, for the Balance. It seems that Messrs. Wann and Barry have approved of this compromise settlement, and I recommend approval of the form. (Enel) Very truly yours.
