Los Angeles, May 3> 733^ 19^6 Mr. A. M. Folger: Referring to your letters of April 26th and 26th with copies of correspondence from the City Engineer, concerning the planning for certain highways affecting Railroad property in Sections 26, 29 > 3^ and 33! This office is not in position to make a commitment that any property will be dedicated for highway purposes. Such commitment must be subject of Board approval, and such approval cannot be requested unless and until the project is ready to go forward, i am willing, however, to state to the City that if and when the City gets ready to open up Tonopah Drive the full distance between Bonanza and Charleston Blvd., will recommend dedicating our portion of the 60-ft. highway; also, we will recommend dedicating the JO-ft. strip between our property and the Kaltenborn property at such time as Kaltenborn is prepared to dedicate his portion. We have no record in this office indicating intent to acquire a right of way along Tonopah Drive between the vacated portion thereof and Bonanza Road. Franl^^g'trong
