    ? Los Angeles - October 3°th, 19^1. Mr. Walter R. Bracken: Referring to telephone conversation with Mr. Folger concerning the proposed purchase from Messrs. Pike, McNamee and Cragin of the SE 1/4 of Sec. T. 20 S., R. 6l E., M.D.B.A M. Mr. Eastland's survey Indicates 161.27 acres in this quarter-seotion. We have authority for the purchase of this paroel at I50.OO per acre upon delivery to us of warranty deed and policy of title insurance in the amount of the purchase price and in form satisfactory to our Company. Z am enclosing herewith duplicate-originals and one extra copy of a form of contract between the above named gentlemen on the one hand, and the Railroad Company on the other, executed by me on the part of the Railroad Company (this execution on my part in accordance with authorization from Mr. Jeffers’ offioe). Zt is my understanding that Mr. MoNamee is out of town and will not return until tomorrow night, but Z have promised our Omaha Offioe that duplicate oopies of this agree­ment will be exeouted by the other two parties, viz., Messrs. Pike and Cragin, before noon tomorrow, and Z have assured them that we have the promise of Mr. McNamee to Join with the other -1 -
