Mrs. Clark, who has several beauty titles in her hope chest, said that competing in the Miss Universe contest was one of the biggest thrills she had ever experienced. "Everything is so fabulous," she said today. "You see so many beautiful and charming girls, ?·j|jL - participate in the most wonde^p parade I have ever entered and,' when it's all through, you wonder if it -really happened to you; "I hope that all of the girls who think they have a chance of winning will enter the local contest. The thrill of winning the Miss Nevada competition will be enough, but when the winner gets ffl?·Lo$$ Beach, she will start living." in a phantom world. It's really thrilling," Mrs. Clark said. Mrs. Clark is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Tommy Nelson, of j Boulder City, old time residents of the dam community.
