I agree.Freeman company PUBLIC RELATIONS ACTION 11/16 Mr* Jack Lauck NEA PICTURE SERVICE News Building 814 Mission Street San Francisco 3, California Dear Jack* I hope this finds you well* I am enclosing an interesting picture for your consideration for the wire* I call it "Turkey Turns Tables** * It was taken during the annual Turkey Trot at the Sands when about 50 youngsters chase live turkeys, with the capturer being awarded the bird he snares* One aggressive gobblert however, turned the tables on the youngsters and chased the two kids in the attached picture nearly 25 yards into the pool area at the Sands* The young boy* Troy Prichard, 3?║, let his guard down when he saw the photographers, but the picture shows Mr* Gobbler about to wreak vengeance for all of the "insults" turkeys seem to take around Thanksgiving time* Actually the turkey did peck the youngster a few steps after this picture was taken* The boy*s sister, Tracy, 4?║f seems to have sensed the danger and got away safely without a turkey - or even a "goose". 1 have sent the negative and copy on to Ray Maroney for consideration for the UP wire as an exclusive and am awaiting for his word now, but I thought 1 would send it on to you anyway for your service.
