I agree.NEW ORLEANS ONE OF THE WORLDS MOST INTRIGING CITIES. ENRICHED BY THE INTER-MINGLING OF HER SPANISH, FRENCH AND NEGRO CULTURES SHE IS MORE EUROPEAN THAN AMERICAN. behind her ornate wrought iron balconies and in her Am seculuded moss covered court yards prevail* m?½ attitude which says - don't blame human beings for being human. it's no wonder that in this tolerent atmosphere thrives the infamous "red light" district, known as storyville - IT'S A SUMMER EVENING IN THE YEAR 1915 AND THE UNEXPECTED BREEZE THAT BLOWS OFF THE MISSISSIPPI NOW SCENTED WITH MAGNOLIA AND STRONG COFFEE - IS CHARGED WITH THE ANTICIPATION OF MEN IN THE PURSUIT OF PLEASURE. NO PLACE FOR A YOUNG LADY WHO'S DOWN ON HER LUCK. IT'S HERE, ALSO, THAT A NEW SOUND IS BEING BORN - CALL IT RAGTIME, JAZZ, THE BLUES OR DIXIELAND, IT ALL CAME FROM THE LAUGHTER AND SADNESS THAT WELLED UP IN THE BLACK MAN'S HEART AND POURED OUT IN HIS MUSIC.
