Reinhardt: Harold Case, Chief of the 01 ty Fire Department, called at the offlee today on behalf of the School Board, of which he is also a member, ashing If arrange­ments could be made to furnish a connection from our water mains to serve the Sunrise Addition School, lo­cated Immediately east of the City limits at 25th and Ogden Streets, X advised him we could not furnish water out­side of the City limits nor deliver it at the 01ty limits for use outside. He stated the School Hoard had recently moved 7 buildings from Huntridge to provide School faoilitlee for the children in Sunrlee Acres and also the neighborhood adjoining within the 0ity limits proper and that the City le now passing a resolution annexing this territory to the 01 ty of Las Vegas, the land consisting of about 10 aoree. It is owned by the 01ty and will be need for Sohool purposes, Youth Town and an Armory for the 1, S. Army. Subject to your approval, and after formal an­nexation has been made, X suggest we extend our water main from present nearest connection at the eaet end of Block 2, Gibson & Jones Addition, southerly and easterly along Ogden Avenue to the eaet side of 25th, under the provisions of Rule 9-A, the School Hoard to advance the estimated cost under our usual refund agreement.
