The above and foregoing ordinance was first proposed and read by title to the Board of Commissioners on the l6th day of June, 1954, and. referred to the following committee composed of Commissioners Jarrett and Sharp for recommendation; therefore the said committee reported favorably on said ordinance on the 7th day of July, 1954, which was the regular meeting held on the 7th day of July, 1954, and at said regular meeting held on said day, the proposed ordinance was read in full to the Board of Commissioners as first introduced and adopted by the following vote: Voting. Schellack Subscribed and sworn to before me this 29th day of July, 1954. _______Neola Gierhart___________ Notary Public in and for Clark County, Nevada My Commission Expires April 14, 1954 ORDINANCE NO. 6l8 AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND CHAPTER 24, SECTION 26, CODE OF LAS VEGAS, NEVADA, 1949, AS AMENDED BY ORDINANCE NO. 573 BY ADDING THE FOLLOWING MINIMUM BUILDING LINE SETBACKS AND STREET WIDTH LINES FOR WESTERN STREET AND INDUSTRIAL ROAD, 25TH STREET AND SAN FRANCISCO AVENUE AND DECATUR BOULEVARD TO THOSE SETBACKS ALREADY ESTABLISHED IN ORDINANCE NO. 573; PROVIDING PENALTIES FOR THE VIOLATION THEREOF; AND PROVIDING OTHER MATTERS PROPERLY RELATED THERETO. The Board of Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas, do ordain as follows: SECTION 1. Chapter 24, Section 26, Code of Las Vegas, Nevada, 1949, as amended by Ordinance No. 573 is hereby further amended by adding the following setbacks: 7. Industrial Road. San Francisco Avenue: (a) From Valley View Boulevard to Rancho Road, fifty (50) feet from the south line of Section 5, T21S, R6lE, MDB&M, on the north side thereof. (b) From Rancho Drive to U.S. Highway 91 (South Fifth Street), fifty (50) feet from the South line of Section 4, T21S, R6lE, on the north side thereof. (c) From the east property line of South Fifth Street to the east line of Section 3, T21S, R6lE, MDB&M, fifty (50) feet from the South Section line on the north side thereof. (d) From the west line of Section 2, T21S, R6lE, MDB&M, to the east line of said Section 2, fifty (50) feet from the south Section line on the north side thereof . (e) From the west line of Section 1, T21S, R6lE, MDB&M to the east City limits, fifty (50) feet from the south Section line on the north side thereof. 9. Twenty-Fifth Street: (a) From Charleston Boulevard to a point 920 feet north of the north property line of said Charleston Boulevard and which point is the south line of Valley Street, forty (40) feet from the present center line on the west side thereof. (b) From the south line of Valley Street to the south line of Bonanza Road, forty (40) feet from the present center line on each side thereof. (c) From Bonanza Road to the North City Limits, forty (40) feet from the present center line on each side thereof. 10. Western Street: (a) From the North city limits to Charleston Boulevard, the setback East and West of the center line shall be forty (40) feet; and from Charleston Boulevard to a point three hundred fifty (350) feet South of Charleston Boulevard, forty-five (45) foot setback on the west side of the center line.
