Laa Vegas - June 10, 1953 W 6-1-26 Mr. L. V. Peart - Omaha oe; Mr. I. g. Bennett This refers to your letter of June 5, 1953, File SD 5-? with reference to differences in Form 26 and “Monthly Report of Water Service Accounts'*. I ara returning herewith, original of your statement showing explanation for these differences. With regard to Service Mo. 13705 which covers water service furnished the Young and Smith Hedlmix Concrete Company, I am attaching 00 y of letter dated November 28, 1952 from the Public Service Commission, State of Nevada which authorises the adjustment of account No. 13705 made by this office. Your attention is drawn to the second paragraph of Mr. Robert Allen's letter in which he authorized the Las Vegas Land and Water Company to refund back to the Young and Smith Redimix Concrete Company, the difference collected since September 1, 1951 to and including December 1952 as per the new rate schedule which is known as late 55A. In discussing this with our traveling auditor, Mr. Ned Doty, he advised that since the Young and Smith Company has not requested a refund, we should carry the over payment as an amount paid in advance.
