Bennett) Referring to your letter of April 14th, file W 25, regarding new rate for private swimming pools: 1 agree we should request permission of the Commission to add to our rate schedule rates to cover private swimming pools while such pools are in operation. It is very probable we will receive other applications for private pools of varying capacities, some with filters, chlorination and circulatory systems, others without such facilities, which will appreciably affect the amount of water used. I suggest we make application to the Commission for authority to establish following schedule: Private Swimming Pools The Water Company will furnish water for private swimming pools only when such pools are equipped with approved type of filters, ohlorination and clroulatory systems for returning filtered water to pool and suoh systems are maintained and operated, at the following rates: With capacity of 4,000 ou. ft. or less, # 5.00 per mo it n it 4,001 to 6,000 ou. ft. 4.50 a a a a a 6,001 to 8,000 a a 6.00 a a it a n 8,001 to 10,000 a a 7,50 a a it n n Over 10,000 a a 10.00 a a * and provided such pools shall not be drained and refilled in excess of once every 5 months and in the Interim only such water as may be necessary to replenish losses due to evaporation and spillage.
