Los Angeles, October 28, 1953 2-988 569 Mr. E. E. Bennett - Los Angeles: Please refer to y o u r letter of October 15th, file 77-8, regarding p r o p o s e d sale to the City of Las Vegas. In your letter you advise that the Las Vegas Valley Water District a g r e e d to a conveyance from the Railroads to the W a t e r Company of an easement in the form of Exhibit HF “ for the p i p e line crossing of p r o p o s e d sale parcel. It has now been d e t e r m i n e d that the easement de s c r i p t i o n shown as Easement Strip Six on Page 7 of Exhibit "FH is in error a n d does not fit the physical locat i o n of the pipe line. I have, therefore, p r e p a r e d n e w description as follows: That cer t a i n strip of land 15 feet in w i d t h situ a t e d in the City of Las Vegas, County of Clark, State of Nevada and being a por t i o n of the SWJ of the SW£ of Section 27, and the SE£ of the SEj of Section 28, T. 20 S . , R. 61 E . , M . D . B . & M . , the ce n t e r line of w h i c h is described as follows: Beginning at a point on the south line of Bonanza Road, 80 feet in width, as said r o a d now exists, distant thereon N. 8 8 0 7 « 5 7 “ e . 3 . ^ 7 feet from the west line of said Section 27; thence S. 36° 2 8 1 30" W. 850.0 feet. Before proceeding w i t h the p r e p a r a t i o n of the prop o s e d easement from the Railroads to the Water Company, w o u l d y o u please obtain approval from the W a t e r District of the new description. /s/ C.
