I agree.January 13, 1943 (Personal) Mr. E. L. Fries, General Purchasing Agent, Omaha, Nebraska. Dear Mr* Fries: This will acknowledge your letter January 8th and 1 was very glad to hear from you. 1 very much appreciate your offer to secure for us some office furniture and equipment and X most certainly am going to take advantage of your kindness. X enclose herewith a list of equipment which we could use very nicely to supplement that which we now have. We have a dark Mahogany typewriter desk with aide drop for one of our secretaries and would like a similar one for the other which will match up very nicely with the office furniture. We have some light oak wooden file oases but they are of ancient vintage and my thought was if steel cases were available we could fireproof our files. The business oar chairs X had in mind placing in our lobby where the present ones given me many years ago have about outlived their usefulness. Again thanking you, I beg to remain Very truly yours, f i t ® r . P.S. Xn this n o o n U mail I received a box of very excellent cigars for which I again extend my appreciation.
