WILDCAT LAIR NURSERY PAYROLL WARRANTS PROPOSED ORDINANCE Assessment District No. 200-2 LIQUOR APPLICATIONS Renewals Las Vegas, Nevada December 29, 1949 A recessed regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners held this 29th day of Decem­ber, 1949 was called to order at the hour of 4:30 P.M. by His Honor Mayor E. W. Cragin with the following members present: Commissioners Bunker, Moore, Peccole, Whipple; City Manager George O. Treem, City Attorney Howard W. Cannon and City Clerk Shirley Ballinger At this time a group representing the parents of children enrolled in the Wildcat Lair Nursery appeared before the Board. Mrs. Carter, spokesman for the group asked that additional time be given to find another location. Other members of the group spoke explaining how necessary it was for the Board to extend the time from January 1, 1950, so that the school would not have to close. Thereafter Commissioner Bunker moved that Mrs. Pracejus be given an extension of sixty days to vacate the Wildcat Lair. Motion seconded by Commissioner Moore and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Moore, Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Commissioner Whipple moved that Payroll Warrants Nos. 1099 to 1101 inclusive in the net sum of $27,041.27 for the pay period ending December 31, 1949 be approved and the Mayor and City Clerk authorized to sign same. Motion seconded by Commissioner Moore and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Moore, Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. An ordinance entitled: AN ORDINANCE DECURING THE DETERMINATION OF THE BOARD OF COM­MISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF LAS VEGAS, NEVADA, TO MAKE CERTAIN IMPROVEMENTS IN THE CITY OF US VEGAS BY INSTALLING A SANITARY SEWER IN THE SAID CITY; PROVIDING THAT THE COST AND EXPENSE THEREOF SHALL BE PAID ENTIRELY BY SPECIAL ASSESSMENT UPON ALL THE LOTS INCLUDED WITHIN THE SPECIAL ASSESSMENT DISTRICT HEREBY ESTABLISHED ACCORDING TO THE BENEFITS; AND OTHER MATTERS RELATING THERETO, was read by title to the Board and re­ferred to Commissioners Bunker and Peccole for recommendation.
