34 Las Vegas ISRAELITE Friday, September 27, 2013 Meaningful Memorial Held At Kraft-Sussman Rabbi Shai Specht and Daniel ?DJ? Sinai A Kever Avot V?lmahot Service/Remember-ing Our Loved Ones, was held at Kraft-Sussman Funeral Services on Sunday, September 8, 2013. The service, developed by Rabbi Shai Specht of ' Temple Bet Knesset Bamidbar, included psalms, prayers and song which created a solemn yet peaceful environment for participants to honor and remember their loved ones. It is traditional for Jews to visit the graves of their loved ones in the period between Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur. Unfortunately, this is not possible for many people whose loved ones are buried faraway or who have been cremated. This service, led by Rabbi Specht Service and Daniel ?DJ? Sinai provided the opportunity for participants to gather together as a community for support and prayer. After the service, attendees enjoyed refreshments and were provided refresh?ments, yahrzeit candles, Jewish calend-ars and pomegranates to sweeten their New Year. Kraft- Sussman Funeral Services is southern Nevada?s only Jewish owned and operated funeral home. They work with all seven Jewish cemetery options in the area and honor prepaid funeral plans from other funeral homes.
