;4r. Reinhardt - Pag® #2 of the pressure reducing valve in Bonanza Village pipe line on the basis that & static pressure of approximately 70 pounds is not considered excessive for Bonanza Village. In view of the attitude of the Water District and their disapproval of the pressure reducing valve, I have omitted the pressure reducing valve from the attached estimate and letter of submission to Kr. Stoddard. Under the conditions now prevailing in Las Vegas with respect to shortage of water, it is my opinion that the pressure reducing valve should be installed In order to regulate the pressure in Bonanza Village at a point about the same as that which now prevails. However, since the District has disapproved this valve, I have omitted it from recommendation and I will regulate the pressure to the village by adjusting valves in the line, in order to cut the pressure to the desired point and still provide the village with a satisfactory amount of water, pending the outcome of the Bond Election. In the event the bonds are rejected by vote of the people, we can then install the pressure reducing valve if it is considered necessary at that time. I would appreciate if you would expedite approval of this project as submitted as It is a part of the project covering water main extensions to serve Heers Subdivision for which I now have a Work Order and would therefor® suggest that you secure wire approval as quickly as possible.
