Pipe Line from Well and Springs: Las Vegas - Feb. 15, 1937. R-11 Mr. F. H. Knickerbocker, General Manager, Los Angeles, California. Dear Sir: I fully realize that the last few weeks have been filled with cold, freezing weather and lots of trouble, but I have a number of times reported the con- dition of the pipe-line from the shop yards up as far as the old Tonopah Highway. It seems to me imperative that something be done to this line at once, as it is leaking in hundreds of places and looks more like a sprinkling spray from one end to the other, than any- thing else. If the repair work is not attended to very shortly, it is my opinion that we will have no line there at all. If the Water Service gang is so busy with other work, would it not be well for me to hire a couple of good men here to repair all leaks and do tho best we can to hold that line for a while? I would not bother you with this information but, as above stated, I have been unable to obtain any results toward these repairs for the past month. Yours very truly, WALTER R. BRACKEN. Vice-President.
