C* Schmidt 2 /V j/K Z At the end of the contest, the child making the most prize winning suggestions will receive a $50*00 fh© defense head* child making the second most winning suggesting will re­ceive a $25*00 defense bond. The child making the third most will receive #10.00 in defense stamps. The newspaper is to he the sole Judge and in the event of ties, duplicate prizes will he awarded. These prizes are to he awarded and are to he a part of the graduation exercises of the public school and the entire plan has been approved by school authorities. In addition to the above, the las Vegas Age also promises to carry news and editorial support in the campaign. It is expected that the entire cost of the campaign will be approximately #1500.00. Mr. Guild has received from Mr. Jef­fers, approval of the conduct of the advertising and educational program of water conservation at Ins Vegas. I expect to give the campaign close personal attention and 1 am hopeful that it will also have the active co-operation of the State and County authorities.
