m A 300' x 20' wood frame platform with shed roof; Laying of approximately 19,000 square feet of 3n asphaltic concrete pavement, and approximately 700 square feet of 6” cement concrete pavement, • for use of Atlas Past Freight, Inc.; consideration $8,875.00; be, and the same is hereby, ratified, approved and confirmed. On motion duly seconded, it was RESOLVED, that the action of Vice President Strong in executing rider, dated October 24, 1940, C. L. D. No. 3319, extending to December 1, 1943, term of lease Audit No. 9753, dated December 24, 1935, expiring October 31, 1942, between Los Angeles & Salt ;L&ke Railroad Company and its Lessee, Union Pacific Railroad Company, and Las Vegas Land and Water Company, covering premises for garage site, Riverside, California; be, and the same is hereby, ratified, approved and confirmed. On motion duly seconded, the following resolution was unanimously adopted: WHEREAS, under lease Audit No. A-45232, dated November 2, 1936, LA&SLRRCo. and its lessee, UPRRCo. leased to Marion Machine Foundry & Supply Company of California a warehouse and storage site, for term beginning on Sept. 15, 1936, and extending to Oct. 15, 1939; rental $130 per annum, payable in advance; and WHEREAS, under this Company's Audit No. 9887, dated December 16, 1937, said Railroad Companies assigned said lease to LVL&WCo.; and WHEREAS, by letter-agreement, dated Dec. 6, 1938, (Audit No. 9887-1), addressed to said Marion Machine Foundry & Supply Company of California, this Company consented to sublease of south half of said leased premises to Murley D. Witt and James B. Kitt, copartners doing business as Signal Machine Company, for period commencing August 11, 1938, and extending to Oct. 15, 1939; and WHEREAS, under date October 9, 1939, term of said lease Audit No. A-45232 was extended from October 15, 1939, - 4 -
