J u ly 9 , 1909 Mr. W. H. Bancroft, 1199 First Vice President, Salt Lake City, Utah. / Dear Sir: Referring to Mr. Tilton’s joint letter of July 9th relative to location of houses at las Vegas,, also size of lots. I have today written Mr. Bettis as per copy of letter I sent you relative to the "blocks upon which we propose to erect these houses, as I thought it "best to have Mr. Bettis on record and have him make a thorough check of all deeds to see that none of these lots are sold "before we start "building on them. Mr. Tilton spoke to me this morning about making lots 50 feet instead of 40, and I told him he better put it up to the Committee. I am inclined to believe that 40 ft. lot is plenty. The houses X understand are 24 foet wide, and if they are situated in middle of 40 foot lot it will leave space 8 feet on each side and 16 feet between each house, which I think it plenty.
