Dear sir:- On August 26th, I wrote Judge Ccrraish relative to the proposed dividend to he declared hy the Las Vegas L a n d & Water Co, upon its capital stock, and I enclose you herewith copy of his reply under date of the 3rd inst. I suggest that the Secretary of the Las -p-egas Land & Water Company call a stockholders* meeting and procure the proxies of every stockholder, so that the approval of the dividend may he made hy all the stockholders.
