Other Water Utilities....... 4,667.41 Miscellaneous Municipal Sales............ 712.00 Total Sales of Water........... $50,865.91 Based upon the investigation made by this commission about two years ago regarding water rates in Las Vegas, the #18,809.88 shown for joint facility rents was explained as the amount of expenses pro-rated to Las Vegas Land and Water Company for use of property, including wells, mains, etc. from source of water supply to point in Union Pacific yards, and that this expense if pro-rated on the amount of water used by the railroad and the water company. The growth in business since that time has been largely due to Boulder Dam activities. The question will naturally arise as to how long this level of business will continue and to what extent water revenues may be adversely affected after the construction of the dam is completed.
