(2) * For the Opening of the Show, there were to be long rows of Landing Lights. * The Stair Units used in the Opening were to be motorized . * One more Skyscraper drop was to be added to the "Top Hat" scene. * For "Grand Staircase", the original look had a larger Ray Arch that started on the deck and arched the Stair Units to the deck on the other side. There would have been no Rolling Rays, which are currently used in the Show. * There originally was a Bridge Platform for the Singers during "Smoke Gets In Your Eyes". * During "Heat Wave", the suspended "Fans" hanging behind the Stair Units were originally planned to be inverted and have (3) times as many. * There were to be several items added to the San Francisco Park scene including a ground effect and a Hot Air Balloon in flight. * The Singer in "By The Light Of The Silvery Moon" was originally planned to fly in the "Moon" from the Stage Left Light Port high above the audience down to the Stage. * There was to be more "plexiglass" on a larger Nob Hill "Arch Drop". * Both Stage Left & Stage Right Interiors & Exteriors were to revolve for the look instead of moving onstage and offstage before the "Earthquake" scene. * There were more Buildings planned for the "Earthquake" scene. * For "Silver Space", there were to be (2) more of the large Wildwalls that currently move around the back of the Space Rakes. There was also to be a Large Ceiling Piece that was to be suspended above the stage. * There was to be one more level added to the 3-story Waterfalls and water was to flow through the Mariah and the Underground set under "B" Elevator. Although these ideas were scrapped before the Show opened, there were some ideas that were scrapped after the Show had been running: * During the Earthquake scene, bodies (mannequins) would
